Loop Riot

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 September 2026

The short version. Loop Riot has no sign-up and never asks for your name, email, birthday, location or contacts. Your progress is kept on your phone. We use a small number of trusted services to run the game, show ads, handle purchases and fix crashes. We do not sell your personal information.

This policy explains how WebOps ("we", "us") handles information when you play the Loop Riot mobile game on iPhone or Android (the "Game") and when you visit loopriot.com. If you have any questions, email us at [email protected].

1. Information we collect

Game progress kept on your device

Your coins, gems, heroes, rank, settings and match history are saved on your phone. Your progress is also backed up so you can keep it on a new phone: on iPhone through Apple Game Center and iCloud, and on Android through Google Play Games or your phone's backup to your Google account. Those services are run by Apple and Google under their own privacy policies.

Information collected automatically

When you play, the Game and the services it uses may collect:

  • A random player ID created by the Game. It is not linked to your name or email.
  • Device information such as phone model, operating system version, language, app version and approximate country (worked out from your IP address).
  • Gameplay events such as tutorial steps, matches started and finished, rewards earned and spent, rank changes, and heroes unlocked.
  • Crash and performance reports so we can find and fix problems.
  • Advertising information such as your device's advertising ID, which ads were shown and whether you tapped them (see section 4).
  • A notification token, if you allow notifications, so we can send you reminders.

Purchases

In-app purchases are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see your card or payment details. We receive a receipt that tells us what was bought, so we can deliver it and check it is genuine.

Information you send us

If you email us for support, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.

2. How we use information

  • To run the Game, save your progress and deliver what you buy.
  • To understand how the Game is played so we can balance and improve it.
  • To find and fix crashes and bugs.
  • To show ads, including reward ads you choose to watch.
  • To send reminders and game news, if you allow notifications.
  • To prevent cheating, fraud and abuse.
  • To answer your support requests.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on these legal grounds: providing the service you asked for (running the Game and purchases), our legitimate interests (improving the Game, fixing crashes, preventing cheating), and your consent (personalised ads).

3. Services we use

We share information only with the companies that help us run the Game. They may only use it to provide their service to us, or as described in their own policies.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our players or others, or as part of a sale or merger of our business (in which case this policy will continue to apply).

4. Ads and your choices

Loop Riot is free to play and shows ads between matches. You can also choose to watch a reward ad for in-game rewards, or buy "Go ad-free" to remove ads between matches.

  • iPhone: ads are personalised only if you tap "Allow" when your phone asks whether Loop Riot may track you. You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
  • Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings > Google > Ads (the exact menu depends on your phone).
  • Europe and the UK: we ask for your consent before showing personalised ads, and you can change your choice later.

If you do not agree to personalised ads, you will still see ads, but they will not be based on your activity in other apps.

Notifications: you can turn them off at any time in your phone's settings.

5. How long we keep information

  • Game progress on your device stays until you delete it in the Game or uninstall the Game.
  • Gameplay statistics are kept for up to 14 months.
  • Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days.
  • Purchase records are kept as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.
  • Support emails are kept for up to 2 years after your request is closed.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, to object to or limit how we use it, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email [email protected]. You can also delete your game data yourself — see Delete my data. You have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

California residents: we do not sell your personal information. Some ad partners may use device information for personalised advertising, which California law may call "sharing". You can opt out using the device settings in section 4.

7. Children

Loop Riot is meant for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Keeping information safe

We use the security built into the services above, send information over encrypted connections, and limit who on our team can access it. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

9. International transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, these transfers are protected by approved safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the date at the top, and if the changes are important we will tell you in the Game.
